The TOUCHGRIP gap plugger was specifically developed to insert bone substitutes into the gap between implant and buccal alveolar wall. Its semilunar cross section was modeled after the space between the implant and the alveolar wall. The Gap Plugger is large enough to be used vertically to condense the material but still delicate enough to permit work in the lateral incisor region or the anterior mandible.
